I'm starting to believe that the best cure for muse desertion is to complain about it.

Studies reveal muse pops back in, if only for a short visit, following a public venting of desertion. Or... weirdly... a wandering muse takes pity and hangs about for a time (and yes, this is where your muse went; fickle sonsabitches). This theory also explains that, while you usually write Type-A stories, a Type-Z appears without warning scares the shit out of you (and, coincidentally; me).

Seriously. I kid you not. Data collected holds this as a viable theory.

Anyway, I digress...
