Spoiler and Teaser-phobic

teridawnHello, I'm Teri, and I'm a spoilerphobe. Worse than that... I'm a teaserphobe as well. The teaser being the worst because I have such an unrefined sense of self-preservation and cut-tags that scream OMG FISHCAKES!!! SPOILER TO END ALL SPOILERS!! or other such tempting tid-bits draw my mouse pointy thing like a candle to a flame, a kitty to kitty litter, my dog to really tenderly cooked chicken liver, my... well, you get the jist.
I'm starting to wonder if it's wise to stop reading my SV flist as late as the end of August. I know I have to, and soon, or I will be spoiled for S5 and I don't want to be spoiled. I've done both. Been a Spoiler Whore and a Spoiler-Phobe, and can testify that I achieve greater enjoyment, without batteries, by being spoiler free. Spoiler's being alternatively quite accurate; slightly skewed away from 'reality'; to completely wrong. Expectations being what they can be after a particularly juicy spoiler, well, the disappointment is greater than discovering your entertainment for the night isn't as well equipped as you'd hoped.
