Don't know what to think

Today I was kindly asked to leave. "Thanks very much, we'll still pay you, although at a reduced rate after 22 days, but we'd very much like you and your gimp knee off the premises."

Okay. So it wasn't put quite like that, but it's pretty much what my defective brain heard. I'm wondering if I should be looking for a new job right about now.
