Desperately looking for a fic
Dec. 27th, 2005 06:26 am...without much luck. Seriously spent the last two f'in days looking for it. I can't remember if it was a recc or if someone on my flist is even more brilliant than previously demonstrated, or if I'd been browsing someone else's flist for fodder (I recall being horribly bored or, perhaps, antsy) the last two or three weeks. Anyway, it was fairly recent, and totally out of the blue. Didn't bookmark or anything remotely intelligent... simply wandered off in a daze, thinking... 'er, wow...'
Anyway:
Fandom: SGA
Pairing: McKay/Sheppard (sort of... as there was absolutely no sex. It was a life or death sort of thing)
Author: *weeps* I canna rememba!
Title: Geez, that would really help, wouldn't it? *pounds head against wall*
Sum-up: Well, as I said, it was a life or death sort of thing... some pretty girly screamining; Sheppard having a really bad reaction to a(nother) bug bite... Rodney being ultra-cool/utterly freaked out without outwardly being... freaked out; Rodney seamlessly assuming the leadership role (being, you know, the boss of science and all); trying to get Sheppard back to medical while Carson is coming from the other direction without losing it. The sheer size of Atlantis is nicely demonstrated in some heart pounding ways.
And, damn it! I should have known I was going to want to read it again, because seriously... omfg. It was SO good.
HELP!
