...and all day it's a one-man-show extemporizing on why *insert person* is wrong, so wrong, utterly wrong. And horribly horribly stupid as well.

And I'm sitting there, and it's the workplace, and I can't exactly say, "Um, we've covered this ground before, can you move on?" or, something even less polite; 'cause I'm telling you, there's absolutely no way to acceptably tell someone you work 6 feet away from to shut the hell up. I'm guessing, not unless you enjoy leaving the office and finding your tires... less than inflated, or just turning a nicely running office into a war zone.  So, basically, I sit there, nod or try a bit of reason (which is, whew, tough when dealing with unreasonable people, by and large), wait out the storm, so to speak.  My mom taught me to be polite and kind.  This just means if I'm "meh" about your stuff, I usually say nothing.  Didn't everyone's mom say, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all"?  If I hate your stuff, I pretty much look elsewhere.  This, in my opinion, is a reasonable policy, and pretty much something I look for in my ljfriends (as well as KICK ASS WRITING).

Apparently, the internet is the sole place you can vent vent vent, reference the opinions; interpretations; joys of others to be: wrong wrong wrong, and btw stupid as hell.  But, hey, there's also one thing I can do about it.

Friends List. I love you guys! (in the way a "Friend" loves a "Friend" .)
