The only one I could find at hand, and this one's all my babies, and yep, he's a black&white, which is less common (although becoming moreso), but people still mistake him for a Collie. Very odd, given Collies tend to have at least 20-30 lbs and several more inches on a Sheltie. Many, many people still ask: "Ohhhhh! Is she a Collie?" The presumption of gender is always there too... probably because of the coat. *g* I don't think he minds, as long as there is petting in it for him. The human baby is "Jake's Boy", which probably explains why he seeks out little boys for attention (and play). A sheltie's temperment is warm and loving with a sense of bright intelligence glinting from those tiny black eyes. They are working dogs but are content to make their work the humans at hand. It's their responsibility, you see, to always know where each on is. Be prepared to be followed. A lot.
