wtf? html hates me
Jun. 18th, 2005 02:21 pmomg! I want my very own College Studenttm! Someone I can spoil with Doritos and DVDs and little stuffed kitties (not real stuffed kitties--geez). *snivel*
I'm really just putting off leaving to visit mom and dad. (gratuitous reminder: Sunday is Father's Day-- I have that on the highest authority) -- and I'm such a sucky daughter, that driving 130 miles or so is this hideous, nigh insurmountable barrier, AND, I have to do it again tomorrow. I'd asked to be wept for, but... mom and dad. meh. I come out on top any way you look at it.
However, I am blaming this delay on you guys.
Dad: *flings the stink eye*
Me: ...but, Daddy! [yes, I'm 49, and I still call my father Daddy] My flist has been so creative, and my reading list is over 40 links long! And then I needed a 9 hour nap!
Dad: *wanders away*
Also, much love to LJ as I finally figured out the whole customization thing - and now -- oh joy, of joys -- I'll be able to, much more effectively, stalk everyone currently torturing me with wips. (*hehe* I get it now) -- Beware! You know who you are! *heh* and for a change, so do I! Customization-y stuff is also good for adding links beyond: this is me, this is my friends page, this is my archive (which I deleted from the list, btw). Fer instance, I added a link to m-w.com, cause; you know, it's vital to know how to spell all those made up words. ooh! and a link to my iconses so I can remember who made what gorgeous pic. But does anyone know who did this one?I keep guessing Hope, but that might just be word association (knee jerk reaction). Conversely, this may just make me want to buy more iconses space *bastards!*
Hey, I amuse myself -- and that's what really matters, right?
And, no more writing while I'm gone! Blame me, I can take the heat. But, really, the reading list is already... lessee... omG! over 40 links long -- and that includes website pages such as thecaelum's Chronology.
Hm, I don't think I pimped Chronology enough. Chronology! wow. All you ocd folks, you really need to do this. Chronology rocks. Chronology really helps in determining what to read first, because, alphabetical order? Doesn't cut it. The casual, non-stalker reader, doesn't know what you've written; can't pop into
serafina20's website... no scratch that... they can. Hm... who does alphabetical... oh, fuckit. You know who you are. Take my word. Alpha order? It is dead.
And, cool! Another reason to use Mozilla Firefox! When I go over there, I get this little eentsy-weentsy icon in the browser bar - it's a teeny-tiny image of clark and lex! awwwwwwwww! how cuuuuuuute! I want to wuv it and cuddle it and take it home with me (or some such quote--0$ says you can't name what nonsense show and weird ass character said that--ahlot). How'd you do that? And omG, the evil that is... I dunno, was it
pearl_o, or maybe
meret, or some other twisted entity that finally got me to try firefox again. I nubs you!
Yes, I'm a cheap ass date, apparently. I nub everything and everyone [except those who think engaging conversation includes how much they make, how many cars/homes/ships they own, what their stock portfolio looks like, how much they rake in every quarter. Take a hint; money? Not a personality substitute. I kid you not. Dump the soup on yourself and make a quick escape!] *ahem* okay, I digress.
I'm coveting Thunderbird and Bugzilla right now. Comments? Reccs?
Well... can't put it off any longer, and Jake's doin' the pee-pee dance. Sheez. Gotta go.
eta. JesusGod. You know, if you make one f'ing mistake, the entire post is frelled. *snort* LJ sucks. hehe
Irony-
it's my friend.
I have a lot of wrinkles.

LOL! I don't know if I was the one to persuade you to try it, (I use netscape, which is actually mozilla), but I'm glad you're happy with it. :) I don't know how you put pics on your URL line unfortunately.

Date: 2005-06-19 11:10 pm (UTC)The teensy weensy Clark/Lex icon is one that I made so when people bookmark my site, it stands out a little. It is a file that resides on my website. If you're interested in how I did it, let me know.
And thanks for the pimping. =D
