You know those 8x10" cardboard backers they put fore and aft on the comic books they're shipping to you? Really, not much use for anything, so they've been going into the recycle. Today it is discovered: they make really good 'post oven cookie trays', and will probably handlily replace paper towels virtually anywhere. Probably not so good with the spills, but still...

Pillows, Pillows everywhere. Keerist! My pattern with pillows goes like this. Fresh new; onto the bed. About a year to six months later (depending on the amount, frequency, and consistency of drool)... hm... over to Jake's bed. A few months on Jakes bed (with the goddamn pillow cases--eeeediot!)... ew, trash. Not so much with the efficient, but I'm not into laundering pillows and using them again. Mm, no. When a pillow is used up, it's outlived it's useful life. Nothing at all will restore the loft and other pleasing qualities of a 5 buck Target pillow. But, today I'm contemplating the Gel Pedic petbed at gelpedic.com (natch). This looks much better than the Used Pillow Bed--no matter how comfy he finds them. The 'used pillows' may be going directly to - ack - the landfill! And at a mere HUNDRED AND FIFTY BUCKS for a Medium! it's a steal--and I get to pick my color (khaki or denim) sheesh.

Gah! Chores!: It's annoying, but, while I change the sheets once a week; clean and reorder various rooms once weekly; do laundry about the same; take the trash out twice a week; and contemplate throwing out stuff I haven't used in over a year at least weekly... I have to clean the f'n kitchen every f'n day. How fair is that?

I hate, hate, hate, mislocating comic books. I take some with me everywhere on the off-chance I'll have half-a-chance to read a few... and then... POOF! I can't find them. (This message brought to you buy the Finding Lost Comic Book Folder Whilst Cleaning the Bedroom Commission) *whew*

And then, dude, I spend waaaaaaaay too much time doing this when I should be making my bed.
