Gakked from [livejournal.com profile] dolimir while trying not to be too disappointed about Lazarus Gap gap.

1. What's your favorite cheese?

Already I'm not loving this. Sharp Cheddar? Mostly because you can eat it solo without feeling obligated to have pasta or a cracker under it.

2. How long do you hold onto odd socks before giving up on finding their mate?

It's hard for me to give up on solo socks, but when I buy new, the solo socks are the first to go. Sometimes I'm convinced that pattern is what sets me up for always having solo socks in the drawer.

3. Who was your favorite musical artist when you were 15? Yes, you can only pick one!

I was 15? When did this happen?

4. What shape are your fingernails in right now?

Oval, nice natural shape looks best with my fingers. Don't ask. Painted a nice metallic red right now, but tonight we're going to go to a light pastel pink. Okay, this compulsiveness about manicures is the only thing that keeps me from chewing them down to the quick.

5. Two scoops: of what?

Chocolate, chocolate, double fudge brownie chocolate. Hey, go for the gold man.

6. What's your earliest memory?

I don't hold much stock in memories. My brain doesn't work that way.

7. When does your pet look funniest?

When cleaning her face. Those two little paws rubbing up and down her face, just too cute... and enormously silly.

8. What do you collect?

Turtles. For the benefit of people who like to give me things. This arises from a story I like to tell about a couple of red eared sliders I had who committed seppuku.

9. What's better than sex?

An egg salad sandwich on white bread when the bread is so fresh you can still smell the yeast and there's just the exact amount of mayo... yum.

Seriously, there's nothing better than sex. Get real.

10. What things are you brand-loyal to?

Nothing. I normally go for what's cutest or what does the best job for what I need it to do. And just for the record, electric is always better than battery powered.

11. Favorite Dr. Seuss book?

I really don't like Seuss's books, they have disturbing underlying messages. I'd rather not beat my child over the head with such a big stick. Given sufficient facts, he can make up his own mind. Okay, I'm a little psycho about child rearing issues.

If it's any help, my favorite Little Golden Book is 'Saggy Baggy Elephant'. I used to have to read that one to my son every night. A bookshelf full of books, and that's the one he always picked. I've been looking for another copy for the last five years. I think it must be out of print.

12. Best meal you've had lately?

Mm. Egg Salad Sandwich on really fresh white bread and just the right amount of mayo.

13. Peanut Butter and ________?

peanut butter. Yum.

14. Who's your favorite poet?

God. Nobody shoot me. I don't like poetry. I think I was scarred behind poetry an ugly poetry related incident early in life and now, any poetry I read reminds me of the incident. Thus...

15. Where are you going on vacation this year?

Southern California!

16. If you could change careers tomorrow with no strings attached, what would you be?

Book editor.

17. Whaddya drive?

A big ass truck. Ford 150 V8. I'm very contrite about it, but it is hella fun to drive. Next year I'll be getting a MINI Cooper to make up for it. *hangs head in shame*

18. What's your poison?

Diet Pepsi. Sadly, I can no longer imbibe. Although I'm told I'm just as crazy as your average drunk off your ass person.

19. The color of the carpet on your floor?

Blue. God! Where'd that spot come from?

20. What's on your walls?

Framed autographed 8x10's and 11x17's of Claudia Black and Ben Browder. Some framed 4x6 pics of Ben Browder and Michael Rosenbaum. A castles calendar and about a dozen framed magazines with covers featuring Ben Browder and Farscape. Framed 8x10's of son and his sweetie.

Gakked from all over, it's like a plague...

Celeb match tells me I'm most compatible (based on my birthday alone) with Scott Bakula 98%, Alain Prost 97%, Michael Dudikoff 97%, Dylan McDermott 97%, and Geraint Wyn Davies 96%. Who the hell is Alain Prost?

On the other hand, only 55% compatible with Michael Rosenbaum (96% physical match), I only worship from afar anyway. With Tom I've got a 100% physical match (4% intellectual *g*). I didn't know Tom went for older women.

I need to find myself a nice sexy Libra. I'm most compatible with Libras. Mostly because they don't care when you get all aggressive and try to walk all over them. They just pet you and go, "there, there." and give you ice cream.
