Discovered courtesy of wonkyelk (thanks!). From the SGA Big Bang Challenge 2008, canon divergent from about when Sam Carter would have come on board as expedition leader, except the IOA makes a different choice. Very Rodney forward as it is he who strategizes until John’s brain comes back on track. Characterization is on-point and easy to imagine as an actual SGA spin-off.
