There's no one around to tell you when you are going off your nut.

Sincerely, it is really hard to tell, a second opinion can be invaluable at times.

And, ooh, okay I MUST be blind because just now found this on imdb. No cast list yet, but lists Bryan Singer as director. *big ass grin* Oh, and Bryan? Sorry about the Brian earlier. *g* 2006. Much better than anticipated.

Yay Bryan!

Bad thing: Taking him away from the Xmen franchise.

Good thing: At least we already know he *gets* comic-book movies. :) There's nothing worse than the wrong director for superheroes. The Batman series is proof of that.

Yes, this is what has me hopping up and down. Obviously Bryan is of the massive talent; the X-Men films were intensely good, which amazed me so much people were constantly picking me up off the ground. Here's hoping he stays aboard!

You know with Bryan as director I'm really optimistic...

I'm practically BLIND with giddiness. The danger of a major depression is imminent if this doesn't go through. But with a target date of summer or Thanksgiving of 2006, they really don't have a lot of time to f around with.

Tom would, officially, be crazy to turn this down. With Bryan Singer at the helm (and he could have it in the contract to opt out if Bryan does), and a duo of Donners producing, PLUS the two picture deal. Seriously, this is a massive, once in a lifetime opportunity.

With such a plum contract just being offered, and the fact that Welling has, IMO, a serious position of power to work from - he and Bryan could work a great deal here.

Plus, you know... MONEY! *BG*

Only time will tell, of course. *keeps fingers crossed*
